Get yourself to this event in Portsmouth called King Kong. Nick Stokes (organiser and owner of probably the best name ever) has been sorting out this live music, extreme sports & graffiti shindig, in Southsea skatepark. He says;
“The whole point of it’s really to try and help raise some funds for southsea skatepark and generally help it get back to it’s glory days and of course have a bit of a party.
(We) Had our first one a couple months ago which went down a right treat, included lots of bands and djs, a skateboard, in-line and BMX comp, graffiti artists, trading stalls and loads of other bits n bobs going down. Had about 350 people through out the day and we managed to raise about a grand for the skatepark, so bit of a success really.
Anyway we’ve just sorted the date for (this) years bigger and better event, sat 24th July.
Plan for next year is to split the event between the skatepark during the day and one of our local music venues for the night.”
Get yourself there if you can, and Shred the Sh*t out of Satan’s Toilet!!!!!!
